Next stop, Sicily with the flavourful pasta alla Norma, then on to Genoa with the classic pesto di Prà, down to Lazio for the heavy plates, carbonara and amatriciana, then Naples with gnocchi alla Sorrentina. And for us the inevitable Tuscan tradition: soups, pici all’aglione, tortello di patate del Mugello and many other must-taste dishes.
